I recently got the Uhbik bundle and I've been abusing it to hell and back since. Just duplicating every track once and throwing some random unit from there on it, dial in some crazy setting and then carefully mix it in with the original signal is a surefire way to get some excitement into the mix without changing the original timbre.

Otherwise I'm a big fan of AudioDamage FuzzPlus, PSP Nitro, PSP Mixbass and CamelSpace, those've been plaguing my mixes for a bunch of years now. I'm also a slut for anything Audio Damage or Ohmforce puts out, all brilliant, brilliant stuff.

Great for vocals and glueing together drums into a cohesive sound
It really is a badboy little plugin.
yea i like it just hear it misused alot
prefer mixsaturator for ease of use and saves me running output to tape or thru some gear
saves you from HAVING to go through legitimate tape compression and outboard gear? How is that a good thing?

I'd run my shit through my tape or any of my outboard gear before putting it through any psp plugin. The difference in sound is astounding. But to each their own.

I have no idea if that means you like AD or not :?

I like ReaComp and Camel Crusher a lot.

112db Redline Monitor, Voxengo Span, and Sonalkis Free G sit in my master FX on every session.

i like vintagewarmer on the drumbus, sure. more for saturation and low-end beefing up than distortion, its distortion i find really unpleasant.

sonalksis tbk compressor is BAAADDD.

stillwell audio rocket is also wicked for le smack

for basic channel-strip duties, i really like the nomad factory sc226; great limiter, great eq's, ok low cut... compressor is fine on slow-transient stuff but kinda useless on drums.

basically it's like the avalon channel strip that everyone raves about, without the fruity-as-fuck preamp stage.

the stillwell major tom compressor gets used alot for feedback-style compression and low-ratio stuff, and i like their neve eq emulation for brightening stuff up.

and toss livecut on the master bus, play with the settings, bounce and see what compositional ideas you come up with!

Got the whole psp bundle, vintage warmer is the shit!

I have been having so much fun with effectrix latley... You can create some sick glitchy'ness with that plug-in. I would highly recommend it, especially if you like to produce mid-tempo, glitch-hop, or what ever you want to call it....
Their WOW filter is pretty sick too!
