its mad

Post by dhaywood » Tue Jul 14, 2009 8:55 pm

its mad how this small part of a forum about dubstep has so much good house music producers. and i wouldnt even say there r many 'funky' producers. all the good tunes ive heard here i would class as straight HOUSE music.

i dont go on any other music forums but im pretty sure if there was a good one for house i would have found it and be posting there...

why do u think this anomaly has happened?! if u go and listen to the DUBSTEP producers on this DUBSTEP forum, most of them are pretty poor ( no offense, but u can hear for yourself) however the HOUSE producers in the FUNKY (????) section are pushing some big UK sounds...

Im not gonna do a checklist of names cause we all know who is doin it...

just spreading the love!

was thinking the same thing, that not many ''funky'' producers in here.
Shouts to all the House massive tho.

I just find a lot of 'funky' either to cheesy or to road.

agreed, some real talent on this forum, when I get my pair of CD Decks, manna blatently doing a forum production mix..

so many producers on this forum, may be due to the fact of the traffic passing through this site nowdays??

It's funny though because its litterally little/not known compared to the dubstep forum, which can only be a good thing!!!!

Isnt it also funny how the ratio of Quality : Quantity is more in favour of quality in this sub forum, which is also excellent!

Big up all the house lover's on this part of the forum, all the producers & DJ's, top notch!!

Dubstep meets Funky meets Deep House

is a very interesting evolution I am keeping my eye on!

Maybe it's got something to do with the fact that 90% of the kids on the Dubstep board like very, very shit strains of Dubstep. From what i can gather on this Funky board, 90% of the heads are into the good stuff.

same here
it´s a fine line inna the genre between a REAL banger & crappy pop-chune
pretty shure though funky will grow & more & more other musical influences will become part of the style
imo cumbia beats would fit the style baaaad....
