hard to believe that i can type in "dubstep" on itunes and out comes distance, vex'd, scuba, pinch..etc !:o

128 m4a is supposed to be equivelent to a high bit mp3
so they say.....

yeah of course it does.
128 aac sounds about the same as 192 mp3. So not exactly HIGH bitrate. When you look at the vast amount of quality mixes on
www.barefiles.com paying anything for an aac/mp3 file looks like mentalism.
is it?

if you burn a 128 m4a to a cd, and play it on your system, it is a bit degraded. you can certainly hear the difference in cymbals and high notes. it's fine for your ipod or headphones though.
