Konflict - Messiah (DZD2 dubstep remix + RE-REMIX)

Post by dzd2 » Tue Jul 28, 2009 1:49 pm

Probably done a million times before but I had to do mine. :P
I loved this track then and I still do now. There's still some mixing to to, but it's already rearranging the contents in my studio closet, so I thought i'd share it with you.
I you decide to go to my soundcloud page you'll see two versions, so you can choose which one you like best!:P

Feedback wanted! (I know some of you will think:"Oh no, not again that Messiah track", I hope I can take that feeling away!)

it's on my Soundcloud: http://soundcloud.com/dzd2/tracks

share your thoughts please.

cheers

Drum beat could be a little more rough, some more bounce to the kick, i think it needs more energies. other then that its really good and has potential

made the beat sound a bit rougher, and the kick is back in business again!
I've replaced to old file with a new one so the link in my first post is still the one to check!

this has a lot of potential, the only thing i'd say as of the version that's up right now is that the bass that drops at ~:55 is too light/airy. needs to be a bit harder.

otherwise, when you feel the track is complete, 320 me up. lovin it.

thank you, "I'm not worthy"!! :P
I made the bass heavier and it should be moving your bins proper now!

sub seems a little weak and the wobble gets a bit much, aside from that some cool ideas.

personally I dont like it though, it's a classic that should be left alone IMO

I'm going to test it on different systems, since my my bins are producing lotsa bass. I know my monitors (KRK's rockit 6) are a bit deceiting in the lower range!

I've remixed my remix, because I agree with ilwrath who is right with his comment about the wobbles!

ilwrath this one's for you mate!

btw. both versions are up on soundcloud, via the link in the first post!

Like em both - but prefer the original remix as its closer to the original - please hook me up a 320.

both of them are huge.

I may be in the minority but i like the first one better i think.

if you ever make 320's availiable, i'd love to bang this one at the club.
