what do you mean the first part of the song, not the intro right but the "drop"?
That generally means the bassline coming in, my tracks are made in Logic.

@ Von Goochenburg There's a bit of an issue with the first track on your myspace. When you have a straight sinewave like that, mixed in at that mid-rage, it's really gonna hurt people's ears once played on a larger system. Needs to be lower, or something.

I'm digging the ambience of the intro. That kick is tastey. I'm getting a Burial vipe, for sure.
Those samples sound fine to me, by the way.
This is a nice beginning mate. You should continue with it. I suggest adding a soft lead ontop. Maybe also bring some strings into play, to complement the pads you already have.

Firstly, check your levels dude. Im hearing clipping left, right and centre.
I like what your doing tho. I suggest bringing down the delay on the synths a tad bit, because its making everything mush together too much. Maybe get that sub to be more punchy later on, along with a new synth to coincide with it. You could also use those vocal samples later on to add to the beat, if you are feeling experimental.

I've got a track ive made a start on up on my myspace, called Aural Delight:

I've spent a day workin on this, so feed would be awesome.

Some feedback would b great.
Cheers
only thing I'd say is to butter up the piano bit at the end, like some more delay or reverb or something

but I definitely like the vibe man, can't go wrong with hip hop flavour

sorry i'm not being extensive....but that's my take on it

LHD wrote:Alright, got a mostly complete version of this new tune I been workin on posted on my soundcloud, pretty summery, dancey vibes, definitely a deep tune so if all you like is wobble don't even listen to it 'cause I don't wanna hear you tell me to add a wobble. Apart from that all feedback is appreciated, you will need to turn up your monitors a bit b/c there's some headroom in the tune still, and unfortunately, my CPU is at the max that it can handle so I'm kinda stuck on doing too much to this joint until I get a new comp. First one on the page, called Good Feelins.
this tune is deep man. chilled out vibes. it'd be especially ill if the drums banged out a lil bit more.

waitin fa daddy is real slick too. I like being able to catch vibes off of chill tunes like these.

sick stuff!

Newer version of my Good Feelins tune up on the soundcloud. I'm feelin really close to finished with this tune, but for some reason it's just not seeming to come together for me anymore so I'm going back to work on a coupla different tunes. Any arrangement or structure crit is appreciated. The mix is not final so the tune is a bit low volume as I've left some headroom. Most of my levels are (imo) pretty right on. Not sure why I'm not so happy with this tune anymore. A week ago I fuckin loved it! :(

For Safari Dub the production is good, no problems there really. It's just really dry and not unique, the animal noises aren't really good ambiance, or musical for the most part and they last way too long at the start (even chainsaw calligraphy does take that much time). Feeling It is a bit better in terms of the intro, but once the drop comes it really just turns into the exact same thing as Safari Dub. Think you need to change it up a bit.

edit: redid the arrangement/bass

I love the sound of your sub, but I think the lead needs some spacing out, more effects to make it sound less dry. Off for a cool track, cool use of drums I'd like to see more of this :)

I'm working on an old idea I worked out a while ago, this is how it sounds now:

http://www.newgrounds.com/audio/listen/259728

more of a laidback song really ^^
