I'm lucky enough to be catching Adrian Sherwood with Dub Syndicate here in Edinburgh on Monday 10th August during the Fringe Festival. I LOVE Sherwood to bits.suppressor wrote:Dub Syndicate - Tunes From The Missing Channel: Vintage On-U Sound.

Buy Godflesh's "Songs Of Love & Hate" followed by "Love & Hate In Dub" asap. The songs on that album "Hunter", "Gift From Heaven", "Time, Death & Wastefulness", "Frail" and "Almost Heaven" are the greatest known to mankind!!!The Acid Never Lies wrote:Never heard of Godflesh...
DEVASTATING!!!!!!!!!!
Justin Broadrick (Godflesh) was also Techno Animal & Ice with his partner in crime Kevin Martin.... better known as Bug among Dubstep heads.
Also you NEED "Sly & Robbie Drum & Bass Stripped To The Bone By Howie B". This is still my fav futuristic Dub album by a country mile. You can get it very VERY cheap on amazon.

You lucky bastard - I saw him in Brighton last month with Tony Thorpe. Head Charge, Benga, Dusk and Blackdown and Jazz Steppa. He's an all time here for me and I hadn't seen him play since about 1996 or so. Genius of a man.
