Best way to keep on top of the scene?
Keep seeing this been thrown about how the scene is hard to follow, the releases that slip under the radar so on.
How do you guys (mainly the ones who work full time and don't have as much free time) keep on top of the scene?

Through a combination of releases getting posted about on this site, and I check online shops (Chemical, Redeye, Juno etc) every week for new releases. That way pretty much nothing gets by unlistened
EDIT: Yea and also, once you've found artists and labels that you like, it's alot easier to sift through and find stuff that you will probably like (whos playlists are they in, the "what other items did people buy" feature etc).

im pretty busy at work but.
i have a general style i like, follow a few labels, scan thru here, and then also listen to clips on redeye / chemical etc. radio shows are also a good way too... tho truthfully joe nice, anti-social, distance & yunx are about the only ones i catch/podcast regularly

1.get an rss reader and subscribe to every single blogfeed. most websites have rss feeds for their 'new releases' pages so subscribe to all of them too.
2. subscribe to all the online record store newsletter mailout lists.
3.follow everyone on twitter - and also anyone interesting that they are following. ad infinitum
4.myspace you can't receive realtime updates from, so basically get all the 'big movers' into a favourites folder and check them at regular intervals.
5.don't go outside. the only time you are permitted to leave your house is once every sunday to go to church i mean fwd. make sure you take your notebook with you and harass the djs for track names/ release information

Back in the dayz we used to sit cross legged in a circle at DMZ and signal the DJ with joss sticks.
