We tend to push the more experimental beats/instrumental hip-hop stuff at Pollen - having had heads like Mike Slott, Bullion, Lukid, Actress, Lone, Slugabed and more down to our previous parties - but you'll always hear some dubstep-orientated stuff here and there throughout the night.

Our first birthday @ The Croft on August 29th might be of some interest too - we've got Architeq, Peverelist, Slugabed & Tapes rocking the main room and the Beats Convention family in the bar room. It's gonna be a special night.

More info here.
19th October - Jahtari Presents Tapes EP Launch Party @ Gramaphone, London w/ Tapes, Clause Four & International Observer.
23rd October - Galway, Ireland.
31st October - UFO @ Dojo, Bristol w/ Dema.

We at Penguin Dance tend to book a lot of dubstep but aren't strictly any genre.

We have had Digital Mystikz, Appleblim, Stenchman, BAR9, Hatcha and Crazy D, MAH, Vista, Sukh Knight, Kromestar, and quite a few more over the last year.

We have our re-launch at LAB on October 9th with Tes La Rok, BAR9 and more tbc and our 4th Birthday at Motion on October 24th and have got N-Type and Mumdance as well as Beardyman, Friction and a whole load more.

Our student aimed night Naughty Little Brother is on the 4th Thursday of the month and always features dubstep. The re-launch is on September 22nd with JFB and Vista.

We are also doing a launch party for the new five|on|one agency on September 26th@LAB with all the agency artists playing including Wedge, Gatekeeper and Central Spillz- the rest of the lineup will be announced very soon with the full details of the agency.
2/5/10 Beardyman Live!@Metropolis, Bristol.
21/5/10 The Penguin Dance Boat Party on The Tower Belle. High Rankin vs Mumdance soundclash
21/5/10@Lab, Bristol. The last ever Penguin Dance- High Rankin, Mumdance, Eddie K, Demon Cabbage, loads more. Going on til 6am

Thanks to all for the kind words about Seasonfive.. I run Seasonfive with Furesshu, our events are usually once a month and we have some big stuff lined up, including a 2 hour set from Martyn on 3rd Sept.

We try to focus on the deeper, more progressive sounds of the genre..for the heads.
