really.....i dont even know how to respond to that......hes asked u to not play ur own tune? i really hate to talk negative about the guy, but that seems a little big headed to me. sure u used his samples.....but look at what dr dre has done his whole career, and dont let me get started on puff daddy (however i believe it was him who "saved" sampling, which im sure is needed because he wouldnt have a career without using other peoples samples), but then again, i guess i havent heard to original, ive never really been much of a fan of caspas anyways, definately not now... but how close does this sound to the original?

sorry about my rant, and then again i have no idea how record labels work, signin a track to a label, and all that legal type stuff that falls around this situation, but for him to ask u not to play ur own tune seems a little self centered to me.....just my opinion

i used parts of the intro and a single robot voice sample (which disguinishes the song as "i beat my robot") and parts of the break down.
it kinda sucks that i can't hand it out because it seemed to be fairly popular. u cud msg him urself and ask him why he'll probably answer.
dont really care though theres plenty more to come so its fine! i respect his decision.

Caspa the stingy ghost said you can't play your track because you sampled his? How many aspects of his tracks were sampled to begin with? I bet it's most of the track pulled from other's drumsounds, vocal snippets, whatever. Electronic music is all recycled. Always has been and always would have been until Caspa put his foot down. Why supress a good tune no matter who inspired it? He can't ask you not to play it out and really be serious. Playing it out is completely different from handing out tracks with his name associated with it. You can mash up tracks, and when you are mixing 2 records together you are changing the way peoples songs sound. If you trainwreck coming out of his original, would that reflect poorly on Caspa? Sounds like somebody needs to come back down to earth.

u should change how it's listed and call it:

You had the respect to ask him and he still said no. Most people would just hand it out without even asking for permission.

Theirs nothing he can do even if you do hand it out or play it out, hes obviosly listened to it and thought shit this is a lot better than my version.

Thought Id give this remix a listen as so many people had commented on it and I wasnt let down. Wicked remix, shame it couldn't be given the love it deserved. Needless to say, your other 2 tracks on myspace are banging - any chance I could get 320's on them?

Being a Scot I think I may have just found my favourite song EVER in "One night in Glasgow"!
