to do NY compression with it, you have to automate the active/on swicth with your DAW. or do it how you would normaly do it with your DAW

I just use the sends (in logic 8 ) off the drum bus. then I've got a fader for mixing in the compressed signal. that way both wet/dry signals are affected by my drum sub-mix fader, but I can also fade the compression track on it's own....then just leave the unit on. but I learned on hardware so some of my methods are bass-ackwards.3za wrote:welcomeghostsinsmoke wrote:thanks for the heads up. played around with this a little last night.

gotta say im a big fan of audiodamage stuff but didnt like this one.
just too smashed all the time...
the pro version is a multiband which i also have no interest in.
i am spoiled for choice for comps tho with all the UA stuff.
hes done a load of new ones recently, might check out some of the glitchy stuff bored of dBlue.
