These boys have got some wicked beats upcoming! Really liking their work. Loads of space in the tracks, yet retaining this vibe.

ok so i been coming on this forum for about 4 yrs or so now under different names and normally i dont say anything when i dont like something

but i keep seeing these "XYZ appreciation" style topics and every one i come in is a dissapointment

this just sounds like standard chainsaw wobble bass tunes to me, i dont hear this so called "space" in the beat either, well produced and good eq'ing etc but no "space" in the actual arrangement

do u really think these beats r topic worthy bro?

Frankly yes I do. Otherwise I wouldn't have made the thread. You're entitled to your opinion thou and it's no less valid than mine. :)

Considering I play a lot of full on techno, acid, breaks, electro and bits inbetween these tracks have a lot of space in them and have worked really well when I've dropped them out.

Niceone for the appreciation DVNT, lots more to come shortly. Breaking out the combine harvesters for the next batch ;)

DHaywood - What do you mean when you say chainsaw bass? I know it's the haters term of choice at the moment but I don't really know what it means.

the harsh mid range "angry" bass sounds

i think ur music is really well produced and sounds clean, but i just dont like it. hope u can understand that, no hate...

I don't have a problem with you not liking our tunes, just the blanket criticism comes across as pretty unintelligent.

I don't think I'd be alone in saying that we produce across the board, from dubby rootsy vibes to deep heads down riddims to bangers to vocal tunes etc etc.

If you mean we don't fit into what you percieve to be dubstep then your first mistake was assuming we're trying to fit into anyone's little pigeon holes.

Everyone has the right to an opinion though...
