Cubase Studio 4

Post by ozeb » Sun Nov 05, 2006 8:18 pm

Anyone using it? They boast a much better user interface...

I am trying to decide whether to upgrade from VST5 or switch packages (the former being much cheaper of course).

Any pros and cons are appreciated.

Thanks!

dude the program _just_ came out. give it 6 months or so i bet more people will be on it. the new sample browser looks cool, and the halionOne instrument too.

no shit? haha - I have been pushing bits around in my VST5 for so long I just checked out the site on a whim. Didn't realize that I caught the app so close to it's release.

thanks for the heads up. :W:

man if you're still on VST32......you need to upgrade though! the UI is _way_ better and there's hella improvements.

i use SX3 right now, but just haven't gotten a chance to grab 4 yet.

I use SL3. The new features look cool though! If your still using VST32 you should at least to upgrade for the better user interface as someone else said. I was using the previous version of Cubase and going to SL was really an improvement in so many ways.

thanks!

sounds like the UI is much better even in the S series - so I reckon I'll take the plunge.
