Recommend me some good British TV-series

Post by mawltea » Sat Aug 15, 2009 8:02 pm

So I just saw The Inbetweeners, and loved it, and was wondering whether you guys could recommend me any good (and realistic) British TV-shows. I'm a huge fan of Monkey Dust, and I quite liked Little Britain, Monty Python is obviously legendary, and Mr Bean is quite funny. Don't like Black Adder though.

So! Any recommendations? I love those series that depicts something relatively realistically (ie The Sopranos, 6 Feet Under etc).

I couldn't even tell you who the bottom one was. Mr Bean's hardly 'stereotypical' British comedy though.

I'd say we're most famous for our subtle, deap-pan comedy. Like The Office and Peep Show.
