What's even harder/weirder is still being friends with their family. Like one of my exes, I got to be friends with her brothers and even better friends with one of her cousins when we were dating. After it ended, I didn't talk to them for a while until her cousin called me up and we started hanging out and all that. So I get to hear all kinds of shit about her I wish I didn't, and see her occasionally.. but after a while I got used to it and don't let it bother me.

Tough one... obviously every situation is different but when I was in this position, i was honest with my friend, and told him even though I wanted to talk it out with him and know how he felt about the whole thing, I was gonna keep seeing this girl regarldess. We both got very drunk and talked for ages. He hated me a little by the end of the conversation but also repected that i wasn't feeding him bullshit either. Took a lil while but soon after we were mates again.

Helps if you have genuine feelings for this girl otherwise you're a knob
