yeah, really? its more being a prick to come up with something original on yr own than to copy other ppls shit? i see...

every week the same fucking thing: how do you do joker? how can i sound like this producer? how do i get 2 sound like that.

ffs ppl, joker already exists, burial exists, skream exists. whats wrong with u? work some shit out on yr own. invent. contribute.

that funkscribe youtube link is heavy tho, got to say
Lovely hero speech mate, you've really impressed people with it, well done.

Wanting to know how to achieve a sound doesnt mean someone is going to copy it does it? Like someone said in a few posts before 'Knowledge'

have good song ideas, first and foremost.

then detune some square waves in unison and adjust the portamento.

we have like a troll infestation on this forum... if you dont have anything helpful to say, stfu&gtfo the production forum

i think the key to joker's sound is good filters, pointy waveforms, syncopation, subtle filter envelope, portamento, lots of harmony, using mostly synths, obviously playing the motifs out on keyboard

that said, absolutely nothin wrong with click click clicking out your rhythms, imagine beethoven not even being able to hear the music he was writing at all.. this is the golden age of music and we are spoiled as musicians

i dont doubt that a lot of jokers sounds come from all his keyboards, but digital has a lot of great filter algorithms and plugins that can emulate that sound pretty well

safe

never said there was anything wrong, but you would spend hours trying to get the fluidity matched on par with jokers leads if you tried programming them instead of playing them

he seems like he'll just jam out over a loop till he gets it right

but what u actually mean is that some ppl dont have the same opinion as u do. not the same thing as trolling at all.

unless u r now petitioning to have darwin, marx, locke, foucault, einstein, saussure, chomsky (and anyone else who ever held a differing opinion to the masses) officially reclassified as "trolls"?

honestly dude, you came into this thread acting like a prick and now you're acting like a big baby

i'm not a fan of unoriginality either, but i am interested in how other people produce and learning about ways of making music that may be drastically different from my own...strangely enough, i wouldn't mind your post so much if it were actually commenting on music somebody's made, but in reality you haven't heard it...and have no clue what the original poster's intentions are.
