if i get stuck i honestly just go here and read up on shit or listen through my itunes for any little sounds i can put into a song

Go off on a tangent that has nothing to do with the sound you originally intended for the track, and see where it takes you. Can make you listen to that loop you've been listening to non-stop for 3 days in a different way.
