I'd cut that intro in half, it's a bit too repetative. your kick and snare are sounding good, I'd also recommend adding a little bit more movement to the hi hat once it all kicks in to drive the song a little more.Gnome wrote:A little stuck on this new song I don't know if there should be more instrumentation or more variety. I got you just offer something for my work in progress songs.
i like the song but there is no bass to it at all like no wobbz no sub though this is a work in prog. the intro may be a bit long maybe idk the kicks come in at like a min in thats kinda too long for my tastes

I like the vibe man, oohaah vocal ROCKS! Can't hear anything I don't like or anything that sounds out of tune, so finish it and send me the 320!viralcode wrote:something iv been working on the past week or so.

yo, I like the tune man, nice mellow/stoner vibe, it's a tad on the boring side right now, maybe you need to make some more variation... subbass is phat!aspect-dubz wrote:hi everybody, could i get some feedback on a tune im calling piecing together, it's still very much a work in progress, also i'll give feedback to whoever gives some in return, safe

any comment/feedback? I'm currently struggeling with the bassline, I think it's phat but I have this fear that it's too much
I also think that it's boring but maybe thats because I've heard the track like a million times now since yesterday

So I was on youtube earlier in a slight debate over a tune I heard where his synth and the riff were exactly the same as I'd heard on a tutorial so in all fairness I called him a fake
Got a shitload of messages in my inbox on about how I was gay and how I suck and probably can't make a tune so I thought I'd make something for a reply except i forgot what his video was so thought well, maybe, you guys might like to criticize me
Bare in mind it's only my second attempt at a beat, and sorry for the life story lol
Anyway here's the link

The intro and build up is one real work of art, i like the dirty little sound that comes into the background occasionally kinda like a granny's bones shakingroodbwoy wrote:http://soundcloud.com/sinus-sawtooth/si ... n-progress

Then the windy type of atmosphere in the build up shows that there may be a storm to come, and there is the bass hits hard its not too mixed up and it's not dull i think it's fine.. bare in mind I'm a noob as you already know lol
Overall IMO I think it has great potential +1

The bassline is pretty good, filthy you did a good job. A bassline like that just asks for a heavy fucking banging kickdrum so thats what I kinda miss in this track, the kick and the snare need to be way heavier, it'll give extra power to the bassline (IMO)roodbwoy wrote:http://soundcloud.com/sinus-sawtooth/si ... n-progress

Nice atmosphere in the song though it has lots of potential, and so far I really like it
I started this today, thought I'd try something Bar 9 style with the piano intro:

tell me what you think, there's still lots of work on this one ^^

. So constructive criticism would be ace.
/edit. I realize I need to have a bit more variation but I'm still just learning
