Anyone wish Wet Look had a weirder name? It looks so out of place.

well if you really want to break it down to that, then its a stupidly good combination of 2 synth chords, 3 bass notes, and some real cheesy vocal samples.

damn friday shipping! have to wait long till i get this.

It may be repetitive and sameish but dem sounds fits perfectly each other. Might wish too for fewer vocals and more emphasis on those wonderful pad leads, but at the end of the day, BIG TUNE

Its very nice I agree. That said I don't think its anything particularly original or technical hard but yeah I like it a lot. 8)

rubadub records say "'Hyph Mngo' is the year's most talked-about track in the blogosphere" etc.

I'm not going to bother reading the rest of the thread(sorry folks), but I'll just say this:

Anyone else feel this track is like a "Detroit" take on dubstep? I mean that in the most positive way, I fucking LOVE this song. I just get a very, almost Derrick May-vibe out of it.

Boy are you going to be disappointed by electronic music . . .
To be fair to him it is a very simple track. Most people I think are capable of knocking this out in an hr or two. I still think its quite nice even tho its not that sophisticated.

Not sure why it just ain't that original. The folks at blogosphere clearly need to get an education in electronic music.

Nah...the melodic content and actual choices of sounds are deceptive. The structure itself may be simple, but that's where the simplicity ends. Between the quite epic crescendo of the melodies into the breakdown after the first beat section, and the intro itself, that stuff isn't something that "Just anyone could knock out in an hour or two", music would be very different if that were the case.

edit: Also, just because someone say it's the most "talked about", why do you feel the need to make a snide comment implying they're saying it's the best? That seems really needlessly rude...
