DONKY on the DOWNLOW is a FREE entry party where Donky Pitch residents will be joined by good friends Ghost Mutt and Legendary TP to give you the opportunity to come down and check us out, and all for nothing. The proof is in the eating my friends.

When we asked Ghost Mutt to tell us a little bit about himself before his debut performance under this moniker this is what he let slip ... 'Well, my main influences would be Zapp, Dilla, Vangelis and Captain Beefheart. I have an irrational fear of moths... and birds flying into windows.' This explains his ridiculously sick hip hop + squelch + texture + glitch + funk + bass approach to beat-making, and his love of upper lip facial hair. We couldn't be more pleased that he and his phobias are joining the Donky Pitch family.

With a penchant for instrumental hip hop and the like Legendary TP came to our attention via DP fam member and nice chap Slugabed. We've been constantly impressed by LTP's DJ sets at other nights around town including his regular slot for Broke down at Jam, and at his own party BOOM (ting). As luck would have it he also makes some seriously solid beats, a bit of an all-rounder one might say.
