come on lads help it out abit man
ok i will try help it
Basically what you need it muti osc on, one is just not enough, you should start with a sine wave and go from there saw, square or some of the crazy other from VSTs (am not sure which one are the good ones tho am a reason user.) what ever you like basically. once you got that going you need to add effects there lots you can have a go with, filltering, unsion (detune) abit of reverb chorus or flanger and save last till best distortion
then resample !

I'd reach for a hoover if I wanted 'dark' bass. You need a synth capable of pulse width modulation for this. Select a pulse wave, (or if the synth allows, any wave), and modulate the pulse width with an lfo/adsr envelope. Add fx to taste.
Another easy one is to layer two saw waves, one an octave lower than the first. To compliment this, layer a pure sine either the same octave as the lower pitched saw or an octave lower again. You'll need to adjust the volume of the three layers correctly to get a nice full sounding raw bass. To finish this off, either frequency split the bass and apply chorussing to the high frequencies or pass it through a reverb.
The last and final 'dark' bass sound can be achieved by passing a sinewave through a saturation distortion fx. Next throw a lowpass filter on the end with a reverb to finish off.
Good luck!

Step1) Make a sub
Step2) Play Notes
Step3) Be happy you made a dirty bassline
Step4)*Optional* Add saturation for roughness
