so a tune is mediocre... heres a thought... istaed of goin on here and making a thread about bad music, why not...
a: stop listening to mediocre step (there are millions of amazing stuff out there, try For The Win Records for a start).....
b: use said time saved, on biggin up and reppin GOOD tunes....
c: if u dont like a tune, dont isten to it.. works for me :D

Right around the same day wax was first dropped on a 12.

Back then it was all about digging through heaps of records to find one or two items that could be creatively used in your set that either no one else was using, or that would have a huge impact on the audience.

For many people, it still is.
