Dub Weight coming soon in association with Oh My Gosh Record Shop, For The Win Records and Misst. Many set backs, but guna bring 100% dubstep on a solid rig, no bullshit. £2.50 red stripe carnt go wrong. Watch Out.
Big up Geiom pushing since the beginning, Adam Misst each and everytime started from a side room of a psy trance night to bringing Iration Steppas and Exodus to Nottingham 100% soldier.

it brings a smile to my face seeing the nottingham scene thriving now but i do have to agree that a few nights attract alot of dickheads but the doormen are bang on it especially at the basslaced nights the breakage night was good not many people but still a good night what makes me laugh though is alot of the people who are now into the sound used to call it shit when me and a few guys would play the tunes out loud at groove city records and in nottingham light and sound the shop were oh my gosh now is. see you all at a rave very soon.

I really miss the nottingham scene from when I was there (2006-2008ish) - had some wicked nights, heard some great music. I guess this is partly because those were the days when nottingham having a dusbtep night more than once a month put it in the big league as a scene. Also beacuse they were days of feeling like you were in on a secret, you'd go to a night and there'd be room to dance properly rather than wiggle about while you jostle for space, and it was great tunes and great DJs.
I also kind of miss being able to get a pint of Hobgoblin for £2.50 at Blueprint versus a half of stella for £3.50 anywhere in London...
Futureproof, Wigflex and Heavyweight Rocksteady were the ones when I was around. Plus the odd trip to Highness Sounds for the pure dub and roots. I guess it's the latter that's spoilt me a bit as far as club soundsystems go...
