I doubt the moron bought logic, because anyone who dishes out $500 on software would at least bother to seriously read the getting started manual before posting such a stupid question.this Kid named Lamont wrote:why do so many people buy logic and not even know it has vst/au support or even know wot vst's/au's are !!!!

audio units are automatically recognized when you start logic after they are installed properly
here:
http://www.greenoak.com/crystal/download.html
download the universal binary version of crystal and install the dmg
fire up logic and see if it works... make an instrument channel, click under the I/O on its channel strip, select AU instruments > green oak > crystal > stereo
you should be rollin with that....
logic takes a lil time to wrap yr head around.. people are here to help

If you know how to synthesize properly already, get to know the synths you have at hand... Master them one by one... This will take a VERY long time for the ES2 as it's an advanced 'little' synth. It's all about knowing how to make the sound in your head, and if you've got skills in synthesizing you should focus on how to do this! So my advice is to learn logic inside out before branching out, at least then you'll know EXACTLY what tools you're lacking and won't go wasting money on synths you won't use.
By reading up I have noticed you saying you're already an experienced producer but that you're new to logic, in which case buy some AU versions of synths you previously owned....?
