This one definitely needs some fresh ears.

There's just something about it that's not quite right, and I'm not sure what. MLeh

it's mastered with t-racks and eqs/compressors in ableton itself.

anyway: tell me abou tthat tune, what can i improve, is there anything which is specially good?

thank you guys! whoever comments something constructiv will get a comment back on his tune of course ;)

checked out your tune man - not my type of dubstep but some suggestions I have is to make your drums sound cleaner. the claps could use some EQing, or hi pass filtering to make them cut thru a bit more. and that kick you have with the sub bass on it is conflicting with the bass because they're in the same frequency area, I'd suggest cutting the lows of the kick, because you want that to come thru - you already got low with the sub.
thanks mate.
what is funny, is that this is not even my taste of dubstep. i was experimenting with some synth, this is what came out. though i found it quite interesting and kept working on it.

thank you for the suggestion... it's actually already cutted with the EQ, but not really enough, i think i cut it at about 100hz, which maybe isn't enough... i'll follow your suggestion! thank you mate! ;)

Hey could you guys tell me what you think of my new track? Its not mixed at all except for the bass and the kick is sidechained to the bass, but you can hear everything clearly at the moment. Just wanting to see if anyone likes the idea.

i think the rhytm of the drums should be adjusted, it sounds a bit offbeat in my opinion

In Joy Dub the bassline actually never hits, so there's a bit of build up and the drums are alright, but it just kinda builds and goes no where. Needs a drop, or at least something to happen in it.

So I was really, really bored tonight and just finished up listening to some Aphex. I was really digging the drop in Windowlicker and I thought I'd try and make a dubstep tune out of it. I havent finished it, its still VERY rough, but any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks!

It should be the first tune in the player---WINDOLICCA
