One third of A.I. (Aftee + I&I Productions)gravious wrote:The only reason they are called that is because Mala and Coki used to do a finger-puppet magic show.
However, the pressing plant on their first release misspelt Mystikal Digitz

Popular culture has NEVER been able to tolerate bass music for any serious amount of time. They just don't get it.
So yea... the more mid-range cackers, the more likely Steve Aoki and Lindsay Lohan will be doing a robotic gunfinger on TMZ.
People said that when MTV AMP came out, electronic music was going suffer pop music status. It only took a few episodes in the USA until it was quickly put on the MTV 2 network and replaced with some reality game.
Popular music had NEVER been innovative... that's why they're notorious for grabbing at lesser known music to try and diverse their sounds. That why a new Brittney Spears songs sounds about the same as a Debbie Gibson son from the 80's. Except maybe studio/production quality. of course.
It doesn't last long anyway, before they go back to stale pop melodies and hooky vocals. The same things have happened with pop music grabbing at latin sounds around 96, punjabi around, 2000, etc.
Besides... Pop artists just ain't gonna go for their tracks sounding like Distance, 2562, Pole, Scuba, Appleblim, Headhunter, Mala, Kode9, etc etc... I just don't see it happening.

Yeah, i do see your point. Mambo Number 5 type shit never lasted, mixing genres and styles together. I heard Dub Rap. Not my cup of tea. Only good rapper on there was truth live IMO. Once i think about it. I like dubstep the way it is originally. Instrumental. I just dont feel it with rap vocals.

They've been doing it as long as they've been around pretty much, they throw dubstep parties too, seen Kode 9 + spaceape with them and N-Type coming around next. The parties aren't amazing, but they're free with RSVP/VIP so no complaints. Dunno about their cars though... not for me.collige wrote:I never expected to see a DJ competition sponsored by Scion.
