the ignore feature can be used by visiting your user control panel and editing your 'friends and foes'

then adding the person you want to ignore as a 'foe'

ive done this exact mod about 10 times now on several different forums using phpbb3

its ok BUT.. will only work on subsilver or prosilver based themes.. and even then.. it doesnt always work out...

i say just get an IRC chat channel going and embed a web client at http://www.dubstepforum.com/chat

The "video" BBcode now supports the following providers:

Video URL: YouTube, Google Videos, MetaCafe, StarsClips, MySpaceTV, Yahoo! Videos, filefront, Veoh, vidilife.com, gametrailers.com, vidiac.com, Vimeo, gamevideos.com, tu.tv, myvideo.de, CollegeHumor, ComedyCentral, Revver.

You just enter the video URL.

i can talk with dubway if he wants to do something like that... its easily done and takes ~20 mins to get it all sorted out

This is quite a change, im loving the embedding features, spesh the Soundcloud!!

One small gripe, i cant log into my old account? "baz1manor", ive tried replacing capitals and all that, but no luck?

Any reason for this? i cant see it on the memberlist!

although youtube threads can get resource heavy on peoples browsers.... the last thing we want is another myspace profile style browser killer lol...

Not the case, because videos consume browser resources only when rendered in the browser window, thus only when visible and mostly when the video is being reproduced, not when the video player is "idle". In a Forum post, videos may be here and there, so 1-2 could be mostly visible at any time. Also, the user cannot decide on the video player dimensions, so it will always be that size. The *real* dubway may decide to remove this functionality, after all.

actually i think im right on this one.. everytime i check this thread and want to reply i have to wait for all the embeded objects to load.. weather or not i can acutally see them on my screen yet or not.. they are still being loaded on the page.. just down the page a little... this thread is getting slower and slower as more embeds get added...
