I don't get what you're saying...DMZ & Deep Medi have never released 'dark' dubstep.
i just don't know how anyone can say this with 2 releases from a label
FOR REAL. Doesn't make any sense to compare a label on it's second release to one on it's 20th... Deep Medi>>> other labels.
Oh dear someone said a thing, better criticise it quick before people think anyone is allowed an opinion around here

i dont even get what you mean by stripped down, minimal beats....that doesnt describe Deep Medi or DMZ...i mean Ruffage and
Haunted..minimal?
Ruffage and haunted are both minimal? lol. who cares.
basically he think that Pinch & Distance working together are so good, and that both these releases have been of such a high standard he thinks that they are better than the amazing artists on DMZ and Deep Medi!

Not every tune ever released on deep medi or dmz is a copy of ruffage or haunted.
And tbh Ruffage is on the more minimal side. And I'm not sayin that's a bad thing.

coming from a techno-background, i'd consider dmz:006 being minimal and heavy at the same time. but as an advanced newbie to dubstep, i wouldn't dare to draw a comparison between the stuff from pinch & distance to dmz, since i don't own every dmz-12". i already know though, that it's a label with a large variety, not only releasing dark stuff.
anyhow: del002 will be definitely bagged when it hits the berlin stores, like the first one.

Did Pinch and Distance collab on both of the tracks, or is stutter only Pinch and Terminate only Distance?
