i've noticed the past few years record sales/distro usually dry up a bit around the holidays. dunno if its because people are preoccupied with family/holidays and funds are diverted to other areas, but its pretty lame.

on the other hand, i've noticed that used-bins in records stores are always a little fuller in december/january :D

when the labels get the huge returns on thier high selling 12's, you'll see a HUGE spike in releases.

Well i just spent 150$ on tunes this week. Though I'm at the point that I like Full releases and not promos. So easy for me to say was a good week buying records when they are only full releases. :D
