Transfering Mac logic songs to PC
Is there an easy way to do this? Initially if you open it on PC you get a really annoying message when you open the mixer saying that its an illegal move or something.
The only way i've found is to copy the audio configuration and then copy the arrangement and rename all the tracks so that they correspond with want they should be. But this takes about an hour to do so its not really I viable option to do regularly.
Transfering from PC to Mac in Reason couldn't be easier but Logic seems to be a bit of a nightmare.
Anyone know a quick way to do this?

To answer your question, no, there is not an easy or quick way to do this, unfortunately. It is possible though to minimize your time and frustration.Jalfrezi wrote:Is there an easy way to do this? What version of Logic are you working with? Also, how often are you wanting to transfer your songs from Mac to PC? Are you using only audio tracks or are you using MIDI as well?
no easy way to do it; you're gonna have to bounce each file individually, if you want to run your tracks through the plug ins in your channel strip... or, you can use that "new audio file from region" thing in the 'audio' menu of the arrange frame.
as for midi instruments, you'll have to solo and bounce them.
good luck; it aint fun, no matter how you do it.

Yes, as has been said. There is no easy way to do this. I would say the quickest and simplist way would be to render all tracks (including midi) as audio and then open them in your pc. This would mean you wouldn't have the flexibility with the midi. Are you working with some one that you need to pass songs to?
