PC, but I'm getting close to the edge...

I recently got a worm on my PC that made me have to format my harddrive, it was a worm that infected every .exe you ran, so obviously that includes anti-virus software, then I had to format my hard drive. I swear to god, sometimes I feel like throwing it in the bin even though it's only a year old. Then again I only use it for gaming and 3d shit nowadays.

Today people buy macs for one reason. *cosmetic*
when they first appeared, the journalism folks used them a lot. Nice custom screen sizes and layout software.
after the atari and amiga failed many folks hopped on the mac for audio. nin/kmfdm highlight era. so forth

That's a fairly general opinion, I agree a lot of the people you see with macs are using them due to the cool factor, but don't tar every mac user with the poser brush

I used to use a mac and a windows machine, but ended up selling my pc (which was really hi-spec) cause it just couldn't cut it with the mac's processing power

well, I was speaking about the "majority" of people. mac and pc can be on equal hardware ground when it comes to processing power. both upgradeable with the same technologies. i think you mean to say "...but ended up selling my pc cause it was a windoze box"

exact same here. I find it MUCH easier to organize my files with windows. there are simply many fewer sort options on macs, which is a big issue for me.
me too. i got a macbook recently and half expected to not get on with it because in the past i've found macs and laptops impossible to use, but i got used to it really quickly and am a covert now. but like you said, the organisation side of things really lets macs down so i tend to use my PC for downloading and music storage etc

when describing processing power i was referring to the software side of things and how macs use system resources far better than windows

and i ended up selling my windoze box because i could do much more with my MBP and it was completely portable, you should try lifting one of these stnuc on a regular basis!:

At home I have 3 Mac's and 2 PC's. I use the PC's for gaming(mouse drivers/exceleration) and the Mac's for internet browsing(safety) and music production(more raw power).
Really they are different tools, you wouldn't use a hammer to screw in screws.

on a side note, I still have the very first Mac I ever bought, almost 10 years ago, and it's still working like the day I got it. Can't say the same for my PC's, they only last a few years :/

My friends who are PC users always go on about how bad Mac specs are, how little RAM they have etc.
Even if they do, for everything that I want to do, they work perfectly so I'm not bothered.
