i didn't mention amelie, american beauty, groundhog day, airplane, rear window, birds, little miss sunshine, rabid, solaris, rosemarys baby, glengarry glen ross etc because they are great but not epic

Apparently my Dad took my Mum to see Rosemary's Baby on one of their first dates... she turned up expecting some sort of heartwarming drama about motherhood and ended up having to sit through just about the only horror movie she's ever watched! Good skills, Dad!
