call it what you want.

My stuff is more influenced by Grime and Bassline than "proper" garage

All I know is I don't want to be associated with what dubstep has become and this tag gives me a way out at the moment....

Anyone have any future garage-heavy mixes, would love to hear some new stuff?

Also, commenting on what someone said about bass music, I agree. It's just street bass, like they have in Philly, I like that idea.

seems sad people are letting the bad tunes take the name of a movement that used to mean something to all of us... just like in grime, no one wants to stick it out and make it better, just jump ship

oh well, its all just labels anyways

all love

I don't really see it as "jumping ship" when the music whistla and littlefoot produce is NOT represented at the bigger nights. What is the point of even being associated with it then? It's completely different music.
hey, you wouldn't hire a clown to fix a leak in the john..so why do you let these hooligans tear down the biz?

I've been on the ship long enough to know when it's not for me anymore mate.

Anyway most of this stuff IS REAL Dubstep, apart from very very very new stuff in my eyes.

The UK scene moves forward, its not jumping, it's evolving and I think it's fair to say, as much as Im not bothered either way what it's called, whether it's dubstep or not.. something has progressed beyond what people can happily call dubstep..

this is why it's always been and it keeps things fresh!

ps.

If you wanna hear a garagey remake I just made of a level from Megaman 2 feel free to grab this one!

Oh man it sounds more like Dubstep than Dubstep most of the time

this kidna rebranding always happens, its a cop out but it works.. it keeps the heads knowing whats what, and if you don't want wobble heads to be dissapointed you dont feel your cheating anyone by using the D word..
