-same goes for people who say its repetitive because they aren't paying attention to all the little variations:
them - "its all the same noise for the melody"

them - "yes... whats your point"

-old metal heads that call ANYONE with short hair and jeans that fit emo

-people calling metal screamo
-most metal bands being shit and getting more heat than the good ones who deserve it
-people who think they have eclectic taste in music, this usually means what ever NME says is "in"
-stuff being "in"
-people who think anything remotely progressive or technical in music (i.e. awkward time signature changes and clever chord sequences) is weird
basically people... FUCK PEOPLE, stupid people with there stupid faces drinking their Starbucks and using their mobile phones, having conversations about nothing with people equally as unimportant and unimpressive as themselves
music is good, it's the people that ruin it!
I can back all of this. Though some screamo does sound a lot like grindcore, Orchid anyone?

People hating on chase and status. Seem to be forgetting the amount of absolutely sick tunes theyve brought out over the years. Their dubstep stuff is no different to a lot of wobbly stuff and nah its not the best but it gets stnuc moving on a dancefloor and they've got enough smashers behind them to justify a few tunes that are only alright.

This. It's such a negative way to look at music. Who would rather spend their time complaining about acts/tunes they don't like rather than acts/tunes that they do like?
Dance music is largely a singles genre for me... if an artist makes stuff I don't like then I tell them by not buying it.

stnuc that think they're 'heavy into dubstep' because they have a caspa and rusko tune on their phones that they play on every possible occasion.

Sort of on this theme- cause while C & S have put out an awful amount of bollocks yes they do have some wicked songs (like their drum n' bass more to be honest)- people who define what is 'dubstep' by what they like. A crap Chase & Status tune they'll say naaaah it's not dubstep, it's just slow drum n' bass, just because it's crap doesn't it can't be dubstep. All genres have some terrible tracks.
Some people are very odd about namedropping the phrase dubstep, like it's impressive and people will think you've got some incredible ecclectic taste in music just for mentioning it.

People who turn straight edge just because they listen to "hardcore" bands like Terror and Hatebreed.
People who listen to hardcore bands who have the cheek to call dubstep a load of noise and shit.
Hardcore bands who record shitty tinny quality, half arsed songs with god awful guitar riffs consisting of 3 power chords looped OVER and OVER.
As you may have gathered, i fucking hate hardcore and the entire "hardcore scene" thing
"hXc, sXe"........ no... fuck off.
Also when people judge dubstep after listening to it through their laptop speakers on youtube.

A lot of my friends listen to hardcore therefore i've been listening to it for years, and after years of listening to it i can't find a single thing about it that i like. I did give it a chance but it just doesn't appeal to me in the slightest. I'm not just picking out the shit parts just my opinion is that it doesn't have anything appealing about it and it's not my style of music at all.. thats why i wrote it off.
