Lulu Rouge - Ambient Bass Music

Post by ♫♪♫ » Sat Sep 26, 2009 3:32 pm

Anyone here Lulu Rouge fans? This stuff is serious bass music, even if it can't be traditionally considered "dubstep". Drop this in your next set and see how the club reacts. Deeper dubstep fans'll probably go nuts.

Crank the subs for these...

Deeper than deep.

Yeah, her album had some corkers on it. Felt it was a bit bland, mind.

2 great guys... love their music. Reminded me of Various Productions' but being influenced by Berlin/dubtechno/r&s rather than dubstep, grime & folk. Great songwriting in any case....
If you want more, they're fairly close to Trentemoeller geographically & mindset wise, although he's more upbeat if you will. Try Trentemoellers' Essential Mix from 2007 (?)... drifts off into slightly pop-y territory tho, but a great flowing mix that is.

I don't have subs hooked up so I can't even begin to hear the potential bass in these tracks, BUT HOLY FUCK I WISH I COULD.

Sounds real fucking smooth. Chill, laid back, and deep.
My favorite kind of music.

Thanks for posting this.

I've been rocking out to this one all summer, and just today thought..."You know, I'll bet DSF would love this." Glad you're digging it.

Definitely new favorite of mine, and the aforementioned Trentemoller is lush as well, if a bit more in the house music direction. His remix of Bless You is amazing. I wish there was more stuff like this so that I could do entire sets of it, but all the stuff I look up that's labelled "minimal house" is far from it, much more active and less chill.
