Digital
A true jungle legend Digital has been producing dnb for 15 years with releases on labels such as Timeless, Metalheads, Moving Shadow and Renegade Hardware and collaborations with the likes of Photek and Spirit amongst many others. His dub-influenced jungle sound has been an ever present force in the drum&bass world and an influence on countless other producers.
Outrage
Outrage (formally known as Rage) started his dj career on the pirate radio circuit at age 15 and it wasn’t long before he was cutting his teeth as a producer. His experimental attitude towards making music set him apart and attracted interest from many driving forces within the industry which resulted in a slew of successful releases. His recent collaboration with Digital has resulted in the brand new Red Letter LP which will be showcased in Bristol for the first time at Mongrel!
I:Gor
Polish producer of fantastically filthy drum'n'bass, hardcore, raggacore, idm, industrial breakcore and experimental electronics and owner of Pandemonium Records and ADHD Recordings I:GOR has been making tracks since 1994 and smashing up dancefloors in his spare time. He recently finished things off at the Overkill stage at Glade on the Saturday night with an absolute stormer. He’s certainly top of his game at the moment.
Monster X
French radio/tv sound designer by day, electro-breakcore mentalist by night Monster X is a very strange man indeed. After moving away from his metal roots Monster X turned his attention to building his own software instruments so he could develop a unique sound encompassing body-rocking electro grooves, hyper-processed dancefloor electronics and abstract, mentalist breakcore.
Marlow
Marlow’s instantly recognizable sound has quickly gained worldwide success since his first killer release ‘The Rope’ back in 2006. Since then he’s had releases on many major dubstep labels including Black Acre, Boka, Hotflush and his own imprint No Comply Records
Drokkr
Drokkr is a talented dubstep producer based in Cork, Ireland. He performs his music live using Ableton and a midi controller and keeps things fresh by smashing out widely varying performances at every event. Having impressed with his innovative production we’re excited to see what he’s got in his bag of tricks for Mongrel!
Microphyst
Expect beats that shake your ribcage, glitches that vibrate behind your eyes, and synths that stab your mind from this Bedford mentalist producer.
Punksi
The man who started Toxic Dancehall, Bashout, Clean Cut Records Punksi is now the driving force behind the just plain brilliant Overkill stage at festivals around the country. Its very wrong that we haven’t had Monsieur Punksi at a Mongrel til now and we’re very excited to have him aboard at long last.
Ironside & Alkemy
Our two favourite and most regular Mongrel DJs. These two just keep upping their game. After a tearout jungle/breakcore/hardcore set at September’s event they’ll be taking it down a notch with some bashment, reggae and dubstep sounds.
RastaFairy, Gun Drilla and Lemon Squash
We’re very happy to have the Avalaf crew on board- they’ll be playin loads of styles from roots thru to bashment.
Tweedledoom, Pupfish, DJ Dedebo and The Unashamed DJs
The return of the third room and these brave souls will be digging into their crates truly embarrassing charity shop fair. If they’re not blushing they truly have no shame…
Svengali, Tele and Porkchop
As long as the Chop doesn't find he has a date with the Quo in Luxenburg and Tele hasn't forgotten to book himself off from running tings at The Farm the Mongrel Soundboys should all be in attendance for once.
