Market St. SF to Civic Center Plaza $10 All Ages!

From 11:30 AM to 7:30pm, this float features an entire day of solid dubstep programming, located as Float #7 (both during the parade and once parked within Civic Center Plaza). Look for us on McAllister Street, between Polk and Larkin, for some of the most cutting-edge bass music you will find in the entire festival. But the party doesn't stop there!

Join us for the after party, where CDR hosts the indoor downstairs room at Opel's Infuse: Love Evolves, presented by Opel Productions at Kelly's Mission Rock. Music from 10 PM - 4 AM, choose to continue your party with us for a wide musical offering of everything from dubstep to house, figdget, electro, techno, and progressive.

Huge thanks and gratitude to everyone involved who put in time and donated money to make this float come to life. Please also remember the $10 entry fee is what making Lovevolution festival possible for San Francisco. Not only does this entry fee help to cover the costs such as city fees, toilet facilities, and additional safety measures, but also goes to support the only event of its kind in the United States in celebration of our electronic dance music community. MISSION STATEMENT: CDR

"Together,
we stand. One republic. United by BASS." The California Dubstep
Republic was formed in response to a clear need for the introduction of
DUBSTEP to LovEvolution (2009) - the event formerly known as SF
Lovefest. Working as a collective of like-minded individuals, the CDR
will proudly present several fundraiser events throughout the year as
high-quality productions in order to fund this endeavor.


With
the meteoric rise in popularity of this genre, we believe there is no
better place than here, no better time than now, to present the sound
of dubstep in it's pure and unadulterated form at the only event of its
kind within the greater United States. Emphasizing empowerment through
bass, we aim to carry forward the values of the electronic dance music
scene: Peace, LOVE, Unity, and Respect.

The
CDR has no plans to stop with just one day of LovEvolution. Based on
the commitment within the dubstep family to a lasting impact on our
local community, we feel it is our duty to continue year round
fundraising efforts beyond just our annual float, from helping
non-profit organizations to individuals in special need. Stay tuned
