what's the longest time you've spent during a studio session?

Maybe not a studio. More like my bedroom. But 5hours! Felt good. Went back to the song next day...it sounded like arse lol

lol i think most our studio's are bedrooms lol..but yea same most trax i go back the next day totally sounds different specially melodies but yea normally after the next day normally takes me about 1week to when ever to clean it up and finsih it but 1st 5 hours or so i draw up the whole structure..then clean it up.

I never get around to cleaning things up. Once I export to audio I usually never turn back. I'm so lazy :cry:

12 hours, there is a difference thought between sat in front of your computer for 12 hours and doing actual studio work (setting up mics, instruments, blackline) for 12 hours

10 hrs if I do a marathon. then another day or so listening to the finished produced quite a bit to see if I like it.

12 hours: 10 am till 10 pm, I love it to just produce and listen music all day long without any worries.

60+ hours.

I'm not gonna lie - it was not a pretty site by the end... but the worst part was, I couldn't even go to bed after those 60+ hours, I had to take a final in Recording (various dB calculations, mic polar patterns, etc) immediately afterwards.

Nothing like taking a major exam while rabidly hallucinating from sleep deprivation.

After 5 I can't tell whats what... :oops:

Hours 6-8 are spent pushing faders back and forth, doing and redoing, checking and unchecking, revert to, save as, revert to, save as, add infinitum... until finally its 2am and the formerly almost-ok tune is now mashed to pieces :u:
