Theirs some nice ideas goin on in your tracks, Just the mix lets them down. I especially like the synth in your maria is stupid track.

I think you need to lay off the reverb, compressors & the maximisers a bit. To achive a better mixdown.

I agree, I read through and studied the production bible over in the production forum and it made my tracks sound more professional, than sound totally amateur. It's all in the mix down.....likewise, the ideas are all there, you have to take off your artistic hat and put on your sound engineer hat. You want to produce a track that can be sent some where for mastering in the end....If you get them a crappy sounding track, no one can give you a good master of it back....I stress that the ideas are there as well as your structure.... I've gone through the same problems myself :D

Oh, so you guys think im over complicating the whole deal a little bit. I see what you mean, I guess I'm just getting a little ahead of myself at this point. So I should focus more on the production of a clean song instead of making it sound grimey and heavy. I gotcha

yea defo.
just foucus on the overall cleaness of your finished product, Not how loud it sounds. Thats is something alot of producers have had to focus on to achive a decent overall sound.

You can still use dark grimey sounds. Just dont go overboad with the volume
