well exactly. who apart from tubby, plastician and (acknowledges bias) bok bok are actually doing this lately? i'm sure there's others but they're thin on the ground.

you've got to say there's less of an incentive for new djs to mix it up if the people who do the bookings are only booking straight dubstep djs. :|

I play out dubstep, grime and older 2-step garage bits in my sets.

I find that the people I mostly play to lose interest when you play an hour of the same style.

But they are mostly students!

Well, there's Mark One at least. His first tune @ Warrior Dubz was Earth A Run Red. But I agree that more people should do this, it has incendiary impact when done right.

Well as far as i'm concerned it the only way to keep it interesting. As much as i love DS, I love it even more when it has a counter point. Not that Grime is a counter point to dub step but, you get what i mean. The best sets at FWD, for me, have been Mr Plastics.

Just the thought of Rossi B & Luca - Music Money mixed with one of those filthy, nasty Distance tunes makes me want to bounce around the room like a lunatic. :)

Yeah man, and Geeneus as well. That set he did about 6 weeks ago was immense. Jammin - Hello and older bits like that.
