Lowpass - Like has been said those has are crisp as you likelowpass wrote:Gonna do this different.
Instead of giving out feedback after feedback and gettin pissed off with nothing in return, I'm just gonna say whoever gives me any shall get some back.
Tune in sig, let me know
the reverb on the piano makes it sound more real as well. Nice snare sample
not sure about the string section though and maybe the piano part could shift up a gear before it fades out
Also are you going to do another mix? everyone ive played it to loves it.

Cheers guys for the feedback, I may come back and redo this when I've cleared my head a little, there is definately a lot of room for improvement but still in that state of over saturation.my_fickle_eye wrote:Right heres my track, all feedback would be appreciated. Wouldn't mind some snare in here man, whack that fader up, the rest of the drums are sounding cool though.
Nice bouncy hats, some cool synth noises too,
peace

Hey everyone, im kind of new here, been using the drum & bass arena forum for a few months but they dont really take too kindly to dubstep. anyways i been producing for about a half a year now, self taught, and i thought itd be a good idea to get others peoples opinions on it, since no one else knows about it.
so here it is, im not sure wether its finished or not, i guess ill let you lot decide

@ collision
some good ideas there, imo i think the percussive synth gets a bit repetative, need to drop that out some, and the bass sounds a little thin, how did u make the bass?
also not sure if the snare really fits in,
feel free to pm me for some advice
dont wanna sound like a big headed tnuc or owt,
but i wish someone would have helped me when i started out
peace out, n keep at it

all right.. finished up the tune... would be very glad for feedbaxk.. on my monitors it sounds very (!) heavy. lot of pressure, lot of bass. hope you hear & feel the same.

Re: PUT YOUR FINISHED TRACKS HERE FOR FEEDBACK.
Your intro gave me a 'WOW' effect, seriously nice shit, then when your lead bass kicks in at 0.54 and I thought it was abit too empty for such a brilliant buildup, though you fixed it at 1.07 so I'm kinda wondering why make those 13 seconds abit more 'boring'.melodik wrote:new one up...."becoming". used quite a bit of the vocal from we become one by faithless...

Re: PUT YOUR FINISHED TRACKS HERE FOR FEEDBACK.
Hey everybody, new to these forums, but can't get enough of dub. I'm usually making hip hop beats but in the past month or so I've gotten myself some dub vst's for my fruity loops. Using nothing more then FL Studio 8 =/. I download as many drum kits, synths, sounds, etc. to get away from the limited fruity loops sound. Working on getting some equipment right now. I've recently got into making dubstep beats, everything I know right now i've learned on my own, no tutorials or nothing. Not to sure if my sounds is coming out right, so i thought these forums would help me out getting some tips and pointers from other peeps. I know so far that I need to work on my build up's making them more "breathe taking" not sure what else, i'll leave that to you guys.
I got 2 of my tracks up on myspace. I would appreciate if you would listen, lemme know how it sounds, tell me if im going down the right path. I work off constructive criticism so hit me with what you got!!!
