Ive had the same sort of problem with the play button on one of my denons, I spoke to a local electronics shop and they said it's probably the tack switch(whatever that is!), and that it should be a pretty simple repair. Hope this helps.

cheers man. any idea who you would take it to for a repair? a normal electrician, radio shack ?? its not vital, just rather get it sorted before it gets worse

take it down to the local shop mate, ask they to check it instead of you trying to solve its because its costly equipment your dealing with.. if all else fails use your warranty

had that problem with my cdj-100

went to my local gear shop, ordered the part, took 2 months to get the delivery... opened that baby up, bit of soldering latter, it was brand new!

this is quite easy to fix, if you have minimal knowledge of soldering... if you dont, you need a friend who does know to show you... it's a very useful skill

This is a common problem among Pioneer CDJs. Look up the button on ebay, shouldn't be more than 10 USD. You could probably fix it yourself, but then again it's an expensive piece of equipment you're messing with. But it may not be worth shilling out all that money for easy work.
