eks xp5/10, traktor pro, a nice vestax mixer and i sure dont have to carry my tables as it can all go in my bag and still be able to play more tunes then others
Currently rocking one 1210 (other's smashed) one Denon DNS-1200 and one channel as virtual DJ controlled by an electribe. Now try beatmatching with no sync and only being able to jog forwards, or even using a standard pitch fader... Just one knob controlling the pitch (riding the knob some might say)... now thats ghetto!!! not to mention not being able to mix vinyl into vinyl.
As a bedroom DJ I get absolutely no excitement/satisfaction out of mixing from Virtual DJ to virtual DJ cos in most cases all I have to do is press 2 buttons...
So my 2 pennies is...
If ur doing it for fun/messaround then vinyl/CD is the route to go down. If you want consistently good mixes/performance get a USB controller.
