can somebody help me please?
i downloaded sample packs in zip format and tried unzipping using online downloads, didnt work, the one that did work said that this filecan not be changed using this software (or something along them lines) and apparently i read on mac it automatically unzips files if u double click on the file.
the files can be open in itunes (does this mean that they are unzipped already?!)
(btw my next questions going to be how do u u se them in logic? do i just drag them into the system folder with all the logic samples)
thank u

Re: can somebody help me please?
What are you using to try and unzip them? Give Winrar a try if you haven't already.

Re: can somebody help me please?
I use a program called stuffit expander, opens loads of compression types,
In Logic open up the media button in the top right and go to browser, then just search for where you put your samples,
It is a good idea to have all of your samples in one place so it's easier to access them rather than hunting all over your hard drive for that small obscure sample
peace

Re: can somebody help me please?
at the bottom of the browser is a speaker and a volume control, make sure to turn the speaker on then click on the sample you want to hear, I think by default it is turned off316 wrote:i checked the other files of the pack (stuff for nnxt rex etc) and they looked compressed (the icons) compared to the ones im tryna use (exs24 wav)

Stupid question but you did put the audio on an audio track? with enough volume, assigned to the master bus?316 wrote:But doesnt....
I'm not sure if Logic will let you put audio on a midi track but I may as well ask.
