YO guys. Scream/Comb? Comb/Scream/ Bandpass/Comb bandpass/Scream?
like im finding that by putting different inserts in between different filters, messsing around with the placement of each insert produces profund effects. Like a Frequency shifter between the two or a frequency shifter after th second is fucking sick( example is sob focus rock it where the 1/12 wobble sound before the buildup hits, thats most def frequency shifter.
Also, say you have that bassline going, if you split it into the highs mids and lows for diffferent FX channles, and say, in the lows ad a sample and hold between the two inserts within NI Massive instead of a frequency shifter, you essentially get three different sounds merging together. Three different basslines from ni massive is like 9 different wavetables. If you want to make a heavy bass sound, you have to treat it like its a multicomplex monster composed of a bunch of small little parts.
Sorry im gigging my left nut off offff just came back from a sick house where they were throwing dubstep down and decided that while im going to be up for hours i would make some good use of my time
Some more NI massive shittt- Serial filter combos
