Quantize some things and not others?

Post by hasmind » Mon Oct 19, 2009 8:07 am

Hey, there's probably an easy answer to this:

I want to have record quantization set to 16ths for all but one track.
Is there a way to maybe link a midi button to turn record quantization on and off?
I need to do it live, so using a mouse and turning it on/off that way will be rediculous

The solution may be unique depending on what host you are using. What host?

Unfortunately for you i'm not an ableton user, but I did find this page on google http://www.cosm.co.nz/index.php?option= ... id=20:news

I doubt that will help you find out how to trigger it via midi, but hopefully its worth something.

*EDIT* maybe this post on here will help you http://www.dubstepforum.com/post1102133.html#p1102133
