Nice one, yeah this sample didn't sound like it, it is the actual sample. Was pretty surprised to just find it browsing through my sample collection

used to be surprised by this kind of thing, but not anymore. internet is an amazing resource, but also an amazing aide to mediocrity: every lazy fuckign producer rinsing the same samples they DLed off the net, using the same production methods they learnt on the net. dull.lowpass wrote:Nice one, yeah this sample didn't sound like it, it is the actual sample. He uses the word Dub at the start of the bar if I rem correctly.
Don’t worry about people stealing an idea. If it’s original, you will have to ram it down their throats.

All the big boys use samples from standard sample packs.lowpass wrote:Nice one, yeah this sample didn't sound like it, it is the actual sample. Was pretty surprised to just find it browsing through my sample collection
I think DMZ find bits from old Dub/Reggae records or rare films tho.

I found an organ sound in that dub pack that came with CM, and pitched it down like 12 semitones or something and it was the anti war dub sound. I've also heard loads of samples from that CD on alot of dubstepserox wrote:All the big boys use samples from standard sample packs.lowpass wrote:Nice one, yeah this sample didn't sound like it, it is the actual sample.
