i think i have no or little chance, that my tracks will ever be feedbacked, although i feedback quite often (guess so)

this thread is for no use with this behaviour.

Nice one with the beat, find the bass really quiet in the mix and there seems to be a lack of percussion in the track? Isnt it just kick and snare then a slight variation in the middle. With a bit more of a varied beat it would probs be more interesting and possibly more sub.

-yes

yout track doesn't seem to have a concept. no relation between the horrible synth, the snare and the missing kick. wlel it's a work in progress.. but really, you should first at least have something that may sound like work in progress i.e: a 10 sec. drumloop, or something. doesen't have to be long, it has to have some musical substance before posting in here IMHO.

or am I the only one with that oppinion? :x

maybe you should first listen to some dubstep (and other music) and you should train your feeling for rythm mate! :o
i will not ask, why you have the snare on the left and the horrible synth on the right.
agreed!

unfortunatly there seems to be very little on here i can give but...

haha... really, it is funky! :D but i'll come back to you track later...

wel everything is quite in the mix, and i don't wonder that you don't hear a sub. i fucked it up actually. i think i didn't record the subbass somehow. i'll redo it tonight or tomorrow. higher volume and the subbass inclusive :D

lack of percussion.. humm.. well.. dunno actually, don't want too much, like it a bit minimalistic but with a drive and a groove. does it have that drive/groove?

maybe you should wait untill i upload the betta version! and i just recog that i can't upload anymore this month! :( so i'll be here again on teh 1st :D

now to your chune... well i told you before: i tend to more minimalistig dubstep. yours is quote not minimalistic  but it really has a drive. maybe you could make more out of the first drop. and the intro sounds a bit... hmm cheap? don't want to sound harsh, but the synth is, just not individual enough... maybe it just needs some cutoff terror :D

but like the cracy synth from the drop on. although not my kinda dubstep something special ;)

big up

Nearing completion on a remix of Cage The Elephant's 'No Rest For the Wicked'
I'd love any feedback people have to offer.

Cool track. One thing I do feel though is that each bar needs to be a little bit more 'defined', ie a more definate 1-beat at the beginning of each bar. A heavy kick or crash or something. At the moment, especially in the section before the vocals come in proper, the bars sort of flow together and lack a danceable beat.

Track called 'Never Never', its a dubtechno vibe. Keep in mind its a work in progress. Its done on Ableton. I am very, very new to this production thing (about 3 days) so feedback, advice, criticism all very welcome. Let me know what you think.

That's a good call, appreciate it.
I'll keep that in mind as I get back to it.
