video's in nuendo 3

I've got an asighnment for uni involving putting audio to video in Nuendo 3. The video is a windows media file and when I try to open it, it says "A decent de-compresser could not be found". Was wonderin if any1 on here can help me out on what de-compresser I need to download for this, coz I aint got the fogiest. :x

forget it.

get some freeware and try converting the file to something other than wma. may do the trick
