links to FREE quality tunes (no shameless self promotion plz

For some time already i spend way to much money on music, I'm not a deejay (yet), but i like to have good music on my ipod all the time.
As you all know the price for a cd or mp3 is high, especially when you buy hundreds every month.
Sometimes i discover some excellent free music on the internet though, that's why i would like to find some more stuff, given away for free, but excellent in quality.
Of course i know threads like these get spammed very quickly by producers who want to do some self- promotion, so i wanna ask not to do this. If your tunes are quality someone else will probably promote them for you;)

let me kick off with some things i found recently on the web:

the second artist i really want to promote is called MtEden, his tunes are all on youtube, in the description he always puts a downloadlink for the tune.

i have mixed feelings about these threads.

i like how free songs get missed by tons of people.

it rewards people who poke around a lot.

i kinda feel like these threads are cheap, but then again it's awesome at the same time, and i dont want to exclude people from hearing music, but DJ'n is kind of war yea?
