Fleetwood Mac samples are big. I always play it to mates and they usually go 'yeah this is alright, nothing special' until 2.45 when every one of them, including me, proceeds to have an aural orgasmthe acid never lies wrote:pikeymobile wrote: This is the ultimate though, never ceases to make me smile. I listened to that album non-stop for months when I got it. I was a student at Warwick at the time and I would just walk aimlessly around campus with it playing on my headphones... and I get what you're saying about the aural orgasmpikeymobile wrote:Fleetwood Mac samples are big. The Field just does minimal techno like no other. Proper unique in the genre. Not boring like some minimal producers, and not overly cheesy like some of the newer wave of tech/prog-house producers.the acid never lies wrote:I listened to that album non-stop for months when I got it. Also, Passage D is a huge track, it was the one that got me in to the flashbulb. Reminds me of Avril 14th but with some breakcore drums
Re: The Happy Music Thread
its not big or clever, but one for the trance heads out there

WHAT A VOCAL!
edit - skip to about 2 minutes if you want to avoid the intro for mixing and get to the good shit
and for those of you skeptical about trance, give it a go, i used to be adamant that i hated it but above and beyond have seriously persuaded me that it can sometimes be amazing

As soon as the first kick hits with that vocal you know it's gonna be amazing.

Not only for the inclusion in WALL-E, but it being the most played song in my house growing up, it has some special memories
